The Main Game refers to the death game that is at the center of this event. The goal of the main game is for participants to vote for which one among the group will be chosen to die. The game is separated into two rounds of voting, and by the end of the second round, at least two people will be marked for death.
PHASES
The first round of voting is the preliminary vote, in which participants will deliberate on which of half of the group will be chosen as candidates. If the group count is an odd number, the total will be rounded down (a group of 11 will choose 5 candidates, a group of 9 will choose 4, and so on). The people with the most amount of votes will move on to be the candidates for the final vote. Vote counts will not be revealed after the first round of voting.
The second round of voting is the final vote, in which participants will decide which of the candidates selected from the previous vote will be chosen as the victim. During this phase, everyone is able to vote, including the people up for elimination. The person with the most amount of votes will be executed, unless one of the roles are triggered.
Methods to fairly choose a victim, such as rock-paper-scissors or other games of pure chance, are not permitted.
ROLES
Early on during each week, participants will be assigned a role. The role will not have any utility during the week (except in certain cases) and will only come to play during the Main Game. The roles are as follows:
![]() | Commoner: Anyone who is not assigned one of the other roles is a commoner. Ability: N/A If voted for: They and the Sacrifice die. To survive: Vote for the Sage or another Commoner. |
![]() | Keymaster: One Keymaster is assigned per week. Ability: N/A If voted for: Everyone dies. To survive: Vote for the Sage or a Commoner. |
![]() | Sage: One Sage is assigned per week. Ability: Through “holy divination,” the Sage is always aware of the true identity of the Keymaster. They will find themselves incapable of lying about the results of the divination. If voted for: They and the Sacrifice die. To survive: Vote for a Commoner. |
![]() | Sacrifice: One Sacrifice is assigned per week. Ability: The Sacrifice’s vote counts as 2 votes. The value cannot be split between two people. If voted for: Everyone except the Sacrifice and a person of their choice will die. To survive: Receive the majority vote. |
